Library has chemistry!

Come on down to Emerald Library and take a walk through the 'Chemistry and the nucleus' display!  Fascinating snippets of information, displays of items and lovely quotes from leading scientists, this exhibition will be available until mid August for all members of the community.

Something different, something new - you never know what you'll find at your local library!

Well, you're in safe hands!  Emerald Library has just revamped it's 'computer expert' section and we've got a whole heap of "...for dummies" books in now!  Anything you ever wanted to know about Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, AutoCAD, Excel, Dashcode, Joomla! (I'd just like to know what that is!) and many more are now available to loan.

We've also got a whole range of titles from the "Missing manual" series - ipads; iphones; Microsoft Office; Mac etc etc etc.

Come down to the library to check them out OR get online via our Online Catalogue in the sidebar thingy there and reserve them.  We'll send them out to your library of choice.

Changing hours to serve you better!

Emerald Library is adjusting opening hours to better suit the needs of the community. 
From July 1 2011, the Emerald Library will be open:

Monday - Friday

10am - 6pm

Saturday

9am - 12 noon

Simple to remember, easy to get to!

Don't forget to check out the library these school holidays.  There's DVD's, audiobooks, large print, brand new fiction and non fiction - everything you could want to help you relax and enjoy your break!
