Merry Christmas to all!

Thanks to all who donated to the Hamper!
It's that time of the year again - a time when we remember we live in a very special community and we give thanks for all the good things we have.

For the library, it's been a great year of many achievements, all of which have benefited our community with regards to improved access to information and entertainment.

There's been Your Tutor for the students and Bolinda Digital for the listener.

We've got an online catalogue that is slowly but surely getting increased usage in the form of renewals and reservations from borrowers using it in the comfort of their own homes.

We've created a huge hamper for Adopt-A-Family this year, thanks to the many donations by generous CHRC staff and members of the library.

The Gemfields Library has just reopened after a major renovation that has doubled the size of the space and therefore increased the number of items available for loan.

We've had training sessions to improve our skills; information sessions with the public to improve their skills and quite a few laughs along the way.

Merry Christmas to everyone in the Central Highlands Region - may your Christmas be not as wet as they're predicting and may your New Year be full of fun!

Cheers,

Library Staff
Central Highlands Regional Library Service
