Help us Yourtutor! You're our only hope...

Are your kids pulling out their hair over homework? Are you pulling your hair trying to help them? Don't worry, it's all good... CHRC Libraries offer access to Yourtutor via our online catalogue.

 

Yourtutor is a free online tutor for your kids in any subject needed. All that's needed is a library card number and internet access- that's it! From home or in the library using our free wi-fi, Yourtutor is there for you.

 

The first step is going to our catalogue (http://library.chrc.qld.gov.au/opac/).

 

Then just click on the link with the Yourtutor logo (shown on right).

 

The student will need to enter a CHRC Library card number and click sign in. That's it! No charge or series of windows to search through... The only requirement is a card number and to be within Yourtutor operating hours.

 

Yoututor is operational every school day from 4pm-8pm, the exact time your kids would be doing their homework.

Connecting to a Tutor... There are 7 simple steps to using the program:

1. Select the year level

2. Select the subject

3. Subject checklist

4. Input the question that needs help

5. Wait for a tutor for your subject field to be assigned

6. Converse with the tutor

7. Go through the tutors feedback
