New cookbooks!

"Kitchen Coquette" by Katrina Meynink is a brilliantly funny and deliciously different cookbook, combining Katrina's wit and humour with some simple yet fantastic food (and drink) ideas for "those random life scenarios when food is the only answer".  Katrina, so the back flap blurb states, is a "food nerd of the highest order" and as well as having degrees in journalism and creative writing, a Masters of Gastronomy and an Advanced diploma in Taste, is in the final stages of qualifying to be a chef.  It's worth borrowing just for the great descriptions!!
